I know not all Punjabi’s are Sikh, but isn’t part of Sikhism that everyone is welcomed with equality regardless of their race, religion, color or class? Marrying a non Punjabi/Hindu indian person is looked down upon let alone Caucasian people. Sikhs have suffered a lot throughout history on the hands of invaders/foreigners and governments.
I think over time Sikh families will come to like you.
